EPS to JPG converter

Convert EPS files to JPG images in your browser at 150, 300 or 600 dpi. Free, no upload, no sign-up.

Drop EPS files here or choose files.

    • Up to 50MB per file, 10 files at a time
    • The first run downloads the EPS engine (about 16MB). After that it starts right away
    • EPS files without embedded fonts are drawn with similar default fonts, and some non-Latin text may be missing
    • JPG has no transparency, so empty areas are filled with white

150 dpi is enough for screens and documents, 300 dpi for print. Use 600 dpi only for large enlargements. If the result would exceed 30 megapixels, the resolution is lowered automatically.

    What to do next

    How it works

Pick EPS files, choose a resolution and click Convert. JPG quality is fixed at a high setting (92) so text and line edges do not smear.

Use 150 dpi for websites and documents, 300 dpi for print. Several files can be converted at once and downloaded as a ZIP.

    Things to know

JPG has no transparency, so empty areas are filled with white. For a logo without a background, use EPS to PNG. EPS files without embedded fonts are drawn with similar default fonts.

    Frequently asked questions

Should I choose PNG or JPG?

For logos and shapes with flat colors, PNG is cleaner and supports transparency. If the EPS contains photos or you want a smaller file, JPG is lighter. Pick JPG as well when an upload form only accepts JPG.

The text looks different from the original.

If the fonts are not embedded in the EPS, similar default fonts are used instead, and the result card tells you which fonts were substituted. To get the exact look, convert the text to outlines in the original program (Illustrator, for example) and save again. Missing non-Latin text has the same cause.

    What program does the conversion?

Ghostscript (AGPL), the open source engine the print industry has used for decades, running unchanged inside your browser. The notice and source location are listed under Open source licenses in the site footer.

Do my files get uploaded to a server?

No. Rendering and converting the EPS all happen inside this browser and your files never leave your device. Results disappear when you close the page, so use the save button to download them.
