What to do next
How it works
Upload a TIFF (TIF) file and click Convert to get a JPG. For a multi-page TIFF, each page gets a number like p001, p002 at the end of the file name.
JPG files are small and easy to email or message. Transparent areas become white.
Things to know
High-resolution print TIFFs are very large and can run out of memory on a phone. Use a desktop computer for those.
Frequently asked questions
Why won't my TIFF file open?
TIFF is a print, scan and fax format, so phones, messaging apps and websites often cannot show it. Converting to JPG or PNG makes it open anywhere.
What happens with a multi-page TIFF?
Fax and scanner TIFFs with several pages give one image per page. Use Save all to download a ZIP, or use TIFF to PDF to keep everything in one file.
Are there TIFFs that will not open?
Uncompressed, LZW, PackBits, fax (CCITT) and Deflate TIFFs open fine. Some JPEG-compressed TIFFs and camera RAW based TIFFs may not.
Do my files get uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs inside this browser and your files never leave your device. Results disappear when you close the page, so use the save button to download them.
