What to do next
How it works
Upload a PSD file and click Convert to save it as PNG, looking the way it did in Photoshop. Handy for sharing drafts and proofs.
Transparent backgrounds are kept in the PNG. 16-bit and 32-bit PSDs are saved as 8-bit.
Things to know
The whole PSD is read into memory, so large files use a lot of it. Use a desktop computer for files over 100MB. CMYK documents are converted to screen RGB, so colors may look slightly different.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need Photoshop?
No. The tool reads the flattened preview image stored inside the PSD, so a browser is all you need.
The result is white or empty.
If the PSD was saved in Photoshop with Maximize Compatibility turned off, the flattened image inside it can be empty. Ask whoever made the file to turn Maximize Compatibility on and save again.
Can I export the layers separately?
No. Right now only the flattened image, as it appears with visible layers, is saved. Hidden layers are not included.
Do my files get uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs inside this browser and your files never leave your device. Results disappear when you close the page, so use the save button to download them.
