Fill in what you need. The preview updates as you type.

Any day in the week. The chart shows the first day of that week.

Empty prints a blank to write in. Five behaviors over seven days is 35 stars at most.

One per line, about 4 to 6. Empty uses the list in the placeholder.

What you type is not saved on our server.

Name the behavior you want to see

Write behaviors as the thing to do (Used kind words), not the thing to stop. Keep the goal a little under the maximum so a bad day does not end the week.

How to use it

Type the child's name, the behaviors you want to reward and the goal for the week. Each behavior gets a square for every day. Put a sticker or draw a star in the square when it is earned, count the row into the Stars column and add up the week in the bottom row. The goal line under the chart says what the stars are for.

The Excel file counts the x marks for you and tells you when the goal is met. Print the DOCX or PDF for stickers.

Things to watch

Give the star right away, not at the end of the day, and never take a star back. If a week ends short of the goal, talk about which row was hardest and keep the same chart for the next week.

Frequently asked questions

How many stars should the goal be?

About 70 to 80 percent of the maximum. With five behaviors over seven days the chart holds 35 stars, so 25 is a fair goal for a first week.

Can I use it for several children?

Print one chart per child with the name in the subtitle, or duplicate the sheet in the Excel file. A chart with everyone on it is the weekly chore chart.

Does it print on one page?

Yes when you keep to about 12 rows. Grids with more than seven columns print landscape. If the preview shows two pages, remove a few rows or shorten the labels.

Is what I type saved anywhere?

No. Everything stays in your browser and nothing is sent to our server. If you refresh the page it is gone, so print, save a PDF or download the DOCX when you are done.
