Seven sections with 2 rows fit one page. With 4 or 6 rows, remove a few sections to stay on one page.

How to use it

Print it blank and it is a list sorted by store section with a check box and a quantity column, so you write the items under the aisle where you will find them. Or type the items by section (Produce: bananas, spinach) and print a filled list with at least three rows under each section, so there is room for what you remember on the way.

Put the sections in the order you walk your store. For a list that comes out of a weekly menu, the meal plan spreadsheet builds the grocery list from the meals.

Things to watch

The default seven sections with two blank rows each fit one Letter page. More rows per section, or more sections, run to a second page. Fold the printed page in half and it fits a pocket.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the sections?

Yes. Type one section per line in the Sections box, such as Deli, Snacks or Pet. Your list replaces the seven presets and prints in that order, so add Beverages or Personal care there if you need them.

How do I put a quantity?

Write x3 or (2 lb) after the item, such as avocados x3 or eggs (1 dozen). It moves to the Qty column. Anything else stays in the item text.

Does it fit on one page?

The default seven sections with two blank rows fit on one Letter page. With four or six blank rows, use about four sections. The preview shows the page breaks.

Is what I type saved anywhere?

No. Everything stays in your browser and nothing is sent to our server. If you refresh the page it is gone, so print, save a PDF or download the DOCX when you are done.
