Agree on the list first
A chart only works when everyone agreed to it. Go through the chores together, split them by how often they recur, and hang the printed chart where everyone passes it.

How to use it
Type the names of the people in the household, separated by commas, and list the chores one per line with how often each one recurs. Each chore gets a check box under every name, so a chore can be shared or belong to one person. Turn on rotation to print the week and a line that says who moves to which column next week.
The Excel file has an x dropdown under each name, counts the marks per chore and per person, and keeps the How often column as a dropdown. Print the DOCX or PDF for the fridge.
Things to watch
Keep the list to about eight chores or it stops being read. Daily chores (dishes, counters) are easier to share by day than by person, so consider putting the day in the chore name, such as Dishes (Mon, Wed, Fri).

How does the weekly rotation work?
Each week every person takes the column to the right of the one they had, and the last person moves to the first column. Print a fresh copy and write the new names in, or change the names in the form and print again.
Can I use it for one person?
Type one name and a second column called Person 2 is added so the chart still has somewhere to check. For a single person the weekly chore chart with days across is the better fit.
Does it print on one page?
Yes when you keep to about 12 rows. Grids with more than seven columns print landscape. If the preview shows two pages, remove a few rows or shorten the labels.
Is what I type saved anywhere?
No. Everything stays in your browser and nothing is sent to our server. If you refresh the page it is gone, so print, save a PDF or download the DOCX when you are done.
