Fill in what you need. The preview updates as you type.

Any day in the week. The chart shows the first day of that week.

One chore per line, about 6 to 10. Empty uses the list in the placeholder.

What you type is not saved on our server.

Keep it short and visible

Pick a few chores the child can finish without help and hang the chart where everyone sees it. Six to eight rows fit the page with room for the reward line.

How to use it

Type the child's name, pick the week and list the chores one per line. The chart prints with a check box for each chore on each day and a Done column at the end for a star or a tally. Add a reward line so the goal is on the page.

For more than one child, print a chart per child or download the Excel file and copy the sheet. The Excel version counts the x marks for you.

Things to watch

Chores for young children should be things they can finish on their own. Change the list as they grow. Put the chart on the fridge and check it together at the same time each day so it becomes a habit.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it for adults or roommates?

Yes, but the adult chore chart template is better for that: it lists chores by person and how often, instead of days of the week.

What goes in the Done column?

A star, a sticker or a count of checked boxes for the week. In the Excel version it counts the x marks automatically.

Does it print on one page?

Yes when you keep to about 12 rows. Grids with more than seven columns print landscape. If the preview shows two pages, remove a few rows or shorten the labels.

Is what I type saved anywhere?

No. Everything stays in your browser and nothing is sent to our server. If you refresh the page it is gone, so print, save a PDF or download the DOCX when you are done.
