What to do next
How it works
The tool reads the text data in the PDF, groups it into lines and paragraphs by position, keeps font size and bold, and builds a Word document (DOCX). A page break is inserted wherever a page changed.
Wide gaps between characters become tabs. Table content survives, but the table lines and cells are not rebuilt. If tables matter, try PDF to Excel.
Things to know
Formatting, tables and image positions differ from the original. Since the tool cannot know which fonts you have, all text is set in one font (Malgun Gothic, a system font on Windows). Vertical or overlapping text can come out in the wrong order.
Scanned PDFs and PDFs made from photos contain no text and produce an empty document. Run PDF OCR first. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked and saved first.
Frequently asked questions
Tables come out broken.
Tables are not rebuilt. Each table row becomes one line with the cells separated by tabs. If the tables matter, PDF to Excel is the better fit.
No text came out at all.
Scanned PDFs and PDFs made from photos contain no text data. Run the file through PDF OCR first, then convert it here.
Spacing and line breaks differ from the original.
PDFs do not store paragraph information, so lines and paragraphs are inferred from character positions. Spacing where a line used to wrap can differ. Give the document a quick read in Word.
Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
No. Reading and conversion both happen inside your browser.
