How to use it
Fill in your details and your manager's, pick the letter date, and the last day is set two weeks out. The letter keeps to three short paragraphs: the notice and last day, a thank-you, and an offer to help with the handover. Pick the brief tone if you want to keep it to the facts.
You do not owe anyone a reason. If you add one, keep it to a sentence. Print it or save the PDF, and send the same text by email so there is a record with a date on it.
Things to watch
Hand the letter to your manager before you tell coworkers. Do not use the letter to list complaints; that conversation belongs in an exit interview. If you have a signed agreement with a longer notice period, follow it.

Is two weeks notice required?
Usually not. Most US employment is at will, so two weeks is a professional courtesy. Your contract or employee handbook can set a longer period, and some employers only pay out unused PTO if you give it.
Should I email it or print it?
Both. Hand or email the signed letter to your manager and copy HR. The email creates a dated record.
Can I resign effective immediately?
You can. Set the notice option to type your own last day and use the letter date. Expect that it may affect references and PTO payout.
Is what I type saved anywhere?
