Test print before using certificate paper
The border is off by default for pre-printed certificate paper. Turn it on when you print on plain paper. Printers shift the margins a little, so print one copy on plain paper and hold it against the certificate stock before the real run.

How to use it
Type the course name, the dates and the hours, then pick the wording. The certificate prints on one landscape Letter page with the recipient's name across the middle, the date on the left and the signer on the right. Change the name and print again for each person.
Leave the border off if you print on certificate paper that already has one. Turn it on for plain paper. Pick a style above the preview to change the colors.
Things to watch
If the training has a regulator, such as OSHA or a state licensing board, their rules decide what must appear on a certificate. Check them before you hand these out as proof of training.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add a second signature?
The layout has one signature line. Download the DOCX and copy the signature block in Word if you need two.
Does it print in portrait?
The certificate is landscape. For a portrait version, download the DOCX and change the orientation in Word; you will need to shorten the wording.
Can I print this on certificate paper with a printed border?
Yes. Keep the border off and the text sits inside the usual frame. Paper designs differ, so test on plain paper first. If something sits too close to the edge, download the DOCX and nudge the margins in Word.
Is what I type saved anywhere?
No. Everything stays in your browser. When you need certificates for several people, change the name and print or download each one.
