No prices on a packing slip
A packing slip lists what is in the box so the receiver can check it. It is not an invoice and shows no prices, which also makes it safe to include in gift shipments. Send the invoice separately.

How to use it
Type the order number, ship date and the ship-to address, then list each item with the quantity ordered. The slip prints a Qty shipped column and a Checked column that you fill in by hand as you pack, so a short shipment is visible at a glance.
Add the carrier and tracking number if you have them, and use the notes for anything the receiver should know: which box holds what, items on back order, the return window.
Things to watch
Print one copy for the box and keep one with the order. The received-by lines at the bottom are for deliveries where someone signs for the goods, such as business addresses or freight.
If you ship in several boxes, put the package count in the header and mark each box "1 of 2", "2 of 2" by hand.

What is the difference between a packing slip and an invoice?
The packing slip lists the contents of the shipment with quantities and no prices. The invoice asks for payment and shows prices. Many sellers include a packing slip in the box and send the invoice by email.
Do I need the received-by signature?
Only for deliveries that are signed for, such as to a business or by freight. For parcel shipments to consumers, leave the lines blank or ignore them.
Can I show prices anyway?
Not on this template. Use the invoice template if you want prices on the document that goes in the box.
Is what I type saved anywhere?
No. Everything stays in your browser and nothing is sent to our server. If you refresh the page it is gone, so print, save a PDF or download the DOCX when you are done.
