This shows the first part of each sheet as it prints on Letter paper. The file also has a how-to sheet and formulas, and every column fits one page width when you print from Excel.
How to use it
List what you track on the Items sheet with an opening count and a reorder level. Then log every receipt and every issue on the Movements sheet, one line each, picking the SKU from the dropdown. The Items sheet keeps a running on-hand quantity per SKU and names the item for you on each movement line.
The reorder level is the quantity at which you place the next order. When on hand falls below it, the Stock column turns red and says Low, so a quick sort on that column gives you the order list.
Things to watch
When a physical count disagrees with the sheet, add an adjustment movement instead of editing the opening quantity, so you can see when and how much drifted. The tracker counts units only. It does not value the inventory, so dollar amounts and cost methods stay in your accounting software.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to use SKUs?
Yes. Movements are totaled by SKU, so each item needs one. SKU-001 style is fine. Do not change a SKU once it has movements against it.
Can I see the dollar value of stock?
Add a unit cost column on the Items sheet and a formula for on hand times unit cost. If your costs change often, the inventory valuation in your accounting software will be more accurate.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, COUNTIFS and IF work the same in Google Sheets. The dropdown and the red Low formatting may need to be set up again.
Is what I type saved anywhere?
No. Everything stays in your browser and nothing is sent to our server. If you refresh the page it is gone, so print, save a PDF or download the DOCX when you are done.
